UTAH TIBETAN SUNDAY LANGUAGE SCHOOL REOPENS

Utah Tibetan Association is committed to preserving our unique Tibetan culture.   We are proud to announce that after shutting down our Sunday school due to the Covid pandemic, we reopened our Sunday school on May 1st, 2022.

We had 4 teachers volunteer to teach at the Sunday school. Tenzin Lhawang la, Tenzin Khando la, Kalsang Dorjee la(kedor la) and Tenzin Yiga la.  Tenzin Yiga la is a past student of our Sunday school and has graciously volunteered to now teach the younger kids. She inspires all of us. We want to thank all the teachers for volunteering their precious time.

Utah Tibetan Sunday school meets weekly and is led by the UTA executive members, parents committee and taught by volunteer educators. The school teaches Tibetan language and performing arts. We currently have 3 levels of classes and plan to add more.
