A trip to Montana for the elders was organized under the leadership of Norbu la and assistance from key UTA members such as Karma Thinley la, Dhondup la, Passang la, Tsedor la, Tsering Tashi la, Samdup la in collaboration and support with the Utah Tibetan Association. It was a part pilgrimage, part sightseeing and part relaxation retreat for all the elders. They had a lot of fun, from cleaning the buddha statues, listening to Geshe la speak, making momo’s and soaking in the natural Montana Wild Horse hot spring. This was a memorable trip for everyone and we hope to do something like this again in the future. Thank you to the organizers of this trip and everyone involved for dedicating their time and effort in doing something so meaningful for the community.
