Every year Tibet lobby day is held to spearhead and further garner support for the cause of Tibet. Tibetans across the US participate in this campaign action. Utah Tibetan association has participated in the action in the past and continues to do so every year.

Talking Points: Tibet Lobby Day 2014
1. Preserve Funding for Tibet Support Programs: Economic development; Humanitarian assistance; Tibetan language broadcasts of Voice of America and Radio Free Asia; Scholarship and exchange programs
2. Pass Tibetan immigration provision in the Senate-passed immigration bill (section 3410) or in the House H.R. 2080 (Reps. James Sensenbrenner and George Miller) would provide 5,000 immigration U.S visas to Tibetan refugees residing in India and Nepal.
3. Pass Global Human Rights Accountability Act S.1933. This Senate bill prohibits visa entry into; and freezing assets in, the United States of foreign officials who commit gross violations of internationally recognized human rights.
4. Release Tibetan religious leaders Khenpo Kartse and Tenzin Delek Rinpoche
